About Buddyboo

Hi my husband was 18 month post liver transplant for liver cancer , when he started having severe back pain , after waiting several weeks for scan then several weeks for results , we were told he had colongiocarcinoma, mets in lymph nodes and lung, devastation is all I can say, wee glimmer of hope with duo chemo treatment but after six doses , scan showed no significant outcome to tumours and it had spread more, the communication skills of the oncologist was disgusting , I am a senior stroke nurse and have sat in with many to break bad news ,but never felt so utterly helpless for my husband . My husband asked if he would see Christmas and was told, I don’t think so and we won’t need to see you at clinic again any symptom management can be done through GP , please if anyone can give me a glimmer of any hope that we were robbed off just 2 days ago I would be grateful x
