I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer (cancer of the tonsil) in 2009. I was treated with surgery, radiotherapy and two cycles of chemo, which made me extremely ill for quite a long time. However, I recovered eventually and have been back in work full-time for the last three years. I live with my husband, two young adult children and (too many) cats.
