I am in my fifties, have a hubby and 2 kids. They mean the world to me. I ended up on hear as recently I found a lump in my breast. I am currently awaiting my biopsy results after the triple assessment from my Gp referral fast track of 2 weeks.
I work full time and have a rewarding career of over 30 yrs. I enjoy being with family and friends. I have spent my life looking after others and now I need to look after me. my kids are still at school, secondary. They still need me but I understand they will eventually move on to their own future and that’s why I need to me strong and fight for me because I need to be around to watch they fly the nest and make their future, that’s what counts to see them flourish. i want to have a retirement for my hubby and me, I want to be able to have this for us. I feel we deserve this and I want my kids to share their futures with us. I enjoy travel when we can and hope to see more far away places.
