About Boatgirl

I was probably in a bit of a rut when I struck unlucky and was subsequently diagnosed with metastatic triple negative breast cancer. So far I have secondaries in my neck and lymph glands under my arms, and the C has also decided to try to erode my spine with bone mets. I started on EC chemo and also on denosumab for the mets on the bone. The cancer bubbled up again within a few weeks of chemo ending, so was put on paclitaxel. Last scan showed tumours starting in the liver although all quiet everywhere else so have started GEM/Carbo. Also just had microsurgery (first of 2 sessions) to deal with liver tumours. Photo is of one of my cat menagerie (I have 3 of them) going by the name of Smudge.
