About Bhelen

Just over a decade ago I had a battle with breast cancer, I was diagnosed a year after the birth of my son.  Now I have been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.  It has spread to my bones.  They are hopeful that they can manage the illness with treatment, it's early stages yet but it looks as if I am now 'living with cancer'.  My main symptom due to the cancer has been breathing issues due to fluid build up.  My main symptom due to the treatment is fatigue.  I am taking a tablet to suppress my hormones, a chemo tablet, am getting injections for my bones as well as a calcium and vitamin D3 supplement.

Let's hope I can live long enough to see my son become an adult.
