About Barbarella

Hi everyone I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in July 2014. Had surgery in August and was given the fabulous news that all the cancer was contained in the tumour so no further treatment was needed in October..... Phew, the last few months have been a complete whirlwind with many many ups and downs but i am now coping with my stoma and looking forward to being told that i can have reversal surgery (appointment 7th November) I guess what i am trying to say is, not all bowel cancers end in bad news and i hope that my story can give hope to anyone who is going through the initial tests and diagnosis. Keep well everyone xx
