Hi I am 80yr old fit as the proverbial fiddle until I was 74! Ìn March 2013 I was diagnosed with lung cancer open surgery lobectomy of my rt lung carried out on 16th April . Back to work( yes still working) within 8wks!
January 2016 a routine Xray showed a shadow in my Left lung following variety of tests I once again went under the knife for a tumour in my lower left lung , which turned out to be a small cell squamous carcinoma!! This time Chemo was required my body only withstood Two rounds at which time I was rushed to hospital with Neutropenic sepsis! All well after one week but no more chemo!! I stuggled with breathlessness which forced my retirement Dec31st 2016 bringing 64yrs of employment to a close! May 2017 diagnosed with prostate cancer stage3. After discussiin with oncoloģy I opted for Hormone therapy which involves 3mthly jabs.
November 2018 after symptoms in my upper rt chest I have had an M.R.C.P. scan with an Ultrasound and I now have to attend for an E.R.C.P next Thursday , sleep will be in short supply during the next Six days?
