Im 52 and was diagnosed with Oestregen Positive stage 3 Breast Cancer last year....I had a 10cm lump which they had to shrink down with chemo first so I had 6 months of FEC T chemotherapy followed by a single mastectomy on January 15th this year 2016 followed by 4 weeks of daily radiotherapy.
The chemo has left me with partial peripheral neuropathy which really makes me angry as they gave me such a high dose of Abraxane that this caused the neuropathy. All of my fingernails and toenails fell off which was horrendously painful and left me unable to do much for quite a while. Im at the stage now of relaxing at home trying to get beyond the treatment and look to the future with hope..I have a check up looming in July where I will find out the results of a liver scan.
I hope this just tels you a little about me and my situation and where im at right now. I am seperated my hubby left me shortly after my 50th birthday I have my two sons living with me and also my gorgeous little dog Poppy .
