I found a small lump at end of my collar bone on left side 8 months ago, went to GP they couldn’t feel it so was dismissed. This lump has continued to grow and is now noticible at base of my neck. I haven’t felt well for about a year, not unwell but not well.... if that makes sense
I have bad night sweats and my skin can be very itchy. I also have bad neck and sternum pain.
When I went back to my Gp he sent me for an X-ray immediately and said he would get me an ENT appt.
I was seen by ENT specialist for neck lump 4 weeks ago and he looked at my throat with camera up my nose, he said it was clear. I Also said my X-ray was ok.
He said he was going to send me for a ct scan.
I had this 9 days ago, neck, chest and upper abdomen.
I haven’t heard and I don’t have a follow up appt, I suppose I should be feeling no news is good news but I am very worried and not sleeping.
**Update, received letter with appt to see oncologist in 12 days time 7 weeks after ct scan ..my thinking no news is good news has just gone out the window
Has anyone else waited this long to see oncologist in Scotland? Thanks x
