About adey

Hi, my name is Adrian and my mother, Margaret has been diagnosed with secondary abdominal cancer. My mum has been 5 weeks as in-patient due to vomitting and diarrhoea after eating food. A colonoscopy was carried out 3 weeks ago and are still awaiting biopsy results. According to her gastro consultant the pathology department are still investigating biopsies taken from keyhole exploratory done last week on mum's bowel. During keyhole they discovered grey spots on her bowel. The prognosis provided last thursday by the consultant said that my mum's condition is terminal, though no primary cancer has been located. Based on one surgeon and one consultant prognosis. Is it worthwhile to seek a second opinion? As a family we are meeting the consultant this friday on mum's ward.
