Hi all my name is Sara I'm 48 years old and have a mother of a teenage boy. I've just come back from the doctors and they have referred me to the breast clinic I have found a tiny lump which I can only describe as pea like which is very tender and its situated inside of my areola. I went to the doctors 2 weeks ago as I felt this lump, she said that it didn't feel suspicious but said as I was on my period so to come back in two weeks and she will check again. Today I went back and she said that she didn't feel any lumps in the breast (apart from the areola one which she said was non suspicious) but she did say my right breast felt very lumpy !! which I think she said glandular. She told me not to worry but she will refer me anyway to be on the safe side. Is this normal ? I'm so scared
