Hey
So I went for my breast appointment today.
And both the consultant and radiologist agreed that on the top outer part of my left breast it felt noticeably more thicker, harder and lumpier. After my ultrasound the lady did say it looked like glandular breast tissue, but she wasn't happy because it felt so different to touch... Much more lumpier and palpable than the other breast so she done 2 biopsies. I had also shown them a lump in my armpit, which she said I had enlarged lymph nodes, but she thought they were reactive, which doesn't make sense to me as its been like that for many months now.
A few questions, since the biopsies one of the areas of lump feels bigger and more notiable, is that normal? Also I'm not sure she even biopsied that lump as there is no bandage on it, unless she did it from a different entry point/angle... Which is now concerning me incase that was something missed.
But also has anyone had this and its turned out to be fine?
I just don't understand how this breast is so much different from the other... Its also been feeling like a tightness, tingling, numb feeling for a while.
Anyway not sure where I'm going with this... Was just hoping to see if anyone had anything similar and what results were.
Also would they have said if they thought it was suspicious or not?
Many thanks
