I found a small pea size lump in my armpit yesterday and also slight pain in my breast. Is this something to worry about as it can take weeks to get a GP appointment. Many thanks.
Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's always very hard to advise on these sorts of situations - really it is only your doctor who can do this. If you have noticed any changes or symptoms and you're not sure of the cause, we would always suggest speaking to your GP. It may take a bit of a while to get an appointment, although if you call up first thing in the morning then you may have better luck. You may get a phone appointment initially and then if the doctor feels it is necessary they will ask to see you in person.
