Possible ovarian cancer

Hi,

I'm not sure why I'm posting on here but I'm terrified and no one seems to understand. I'm 26 with two children and have been having persistent issues with my ovaries/womb/periods for years. Recently I've started having bloating every time I eat with excruciating pain, pelvic pain, feeling sick, tired all the time, difficulty on the toilet both ends, feeling like my tummy is being pulled down and just general pain and difficulty. I went to my doctors for a blood test and my c125 came back high (not sure what level) so I'm now being referred for an ultrasound which is booked on Wednesday. All my family keep trying to reassure me that it's probably endometriosis or a cyst but I've convinced myself that it's cancer. I'm so so terrified and I'm not sure who to speak to. I know all I can do is wait and I need to be patient but it's taking over my mind.

  • Hi Violet,

I understand your concern and I am sorry to hear you are suffering like this.

It's horrible to have so many symptoms, all you can do now is get the specialists to diagnose and help you as soon as possible. Whether it's  cancerous or not, something inside needs to be removed.

Painkillers might help in the meantime, if you are not allergic as I am not  a nurse or doctor, but I can feel the nightmarish situation you are in.

Seems like you need to go to A&E.
