Total duct removal

Hi hope you all well, I found a lump Feb 2020, also had clear nipple discharge, I attended my local breast clinic and lump appeared normal, 5/6 months later, still had the clear discharge consultant wanted to remove the duct/s to be tested but another lump appeared in the same breast next to 1st lump, the consultant wanted the new lump checked out before going ahead with milk duct/s removal, I went for ultrasound scan and the 1st lumped had changed so they did a biopsy on the same day and the new lump looked normal, I've had a full milk duct removal as a number of ducts were producing clear discharge, I can't help but think the worst :( has anyone had something similar I have follow up on 22nd. Thank you in advance x

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat, Staceyl89.

I'm sorry to hear that you had to have a full milk duct removed and some lumps that needed checking but I'm glad you're being seen by your doctor and having these symptoms investigated.

We have other members on the forum who have gone through a similar situation and I hope they will be here shortly to chat with you and offer support but until they do, and as your next appointment will take place on the 22nd, if you feel like asking some questions to a medically trained professional, our nurses are available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on 0808 800 4040.

I hope your results show nothing sinister, Staceyl89.

    Best wishes,
