I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found a breast lump. You did exactly the right thing by seeing your GP. It sounds like they are being very thorough in referring you to get this checked. 

It may help you to know that the majority of people seen at breast clinic are not diagnosed. There are many reasons for breast lumps and younger women tend to have more naturally lumpy breasts. Hopefully, the team at the clinic will be able to reassure you on the day and help to settle things for you.
