Just wondered if anyone had this before!! I had Mirena coil removed just over one year ago. I am 53 years old. I had no bleeding or spotting following the removal of the coil for over a year.

Two days I started spotting light brown blood, which then went on to resemble a period of dark brown blood. I have lower back pain also. I was wondering if I should ring my GP as I thought I had gone through the Menopause early. I also had some small fibroids about 3 years ago, which were not suspicious. 

Was quite worried as I have been passing urine more often also.
