Hello, for approximately 6 months i have a swollen lymph node behind my left ear. I visited my GP when after about 4 weeks of finding it and he said reactive node nothing to worry about and sent me on my way. I kept monitoring this lump and it's still concerning me because it hasnt disappeared and it behaves strangely. In the morning it feels really big then it starts to shrink then it enlarges again and it does this all day. It feels like it changes shape throughout the day aswell sometimes it feels like a small pea then an hour later it can feel bigger and flatter. Sometimes it feels really hard and others it still feels firm but a little softer. I have seen my gp again and I'm waiting for an ultrasound. In the mean time I was just wondering if anyone has ever had a enlarged lymph node that fluctuates loads throughout the day?
