Good evening 

Have a new suspect mole my consultant wants to excision biopsy. Consultant asked me a couple of health questions, which has happened before. Few days later I get an appointment go anaesthetic pre op assessment with a nurse this week. 
Don't understand why I need a pre op assessment for a local excision skin biopsy.
