Waiting for ct results

Hi I'm new here just needed to ask if anyone else is waiting on results and how long did they wait x my son had a ct scan on Wednesday I know it's only a couple of days but omg the stress I can't sleep I feel like screaming just keep crying   but don't want to cry in front of my son x the reason for the scan is because he's lost 5 stone in weight since June this year he's downs syndrome and he's 30 I'm just so stressed thanks for listening x

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can imagine this is a really stressful time for you as you are waiting for your son's CT scan results. There is information on this page about the CT scan and it mentions that you should be getting your results within 1 to 2 weeks. It shouldn't be too long now before you get some news and if you haven't heard anything after a couple of weeks, do contact the doctor who arranged the test. 

    I am keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine for your son.

    Hi! I was just as stressed and called up a week after with no result. I don't know if its because it's around christmas time but it's been 5 weeks and no report back of CT scan. I hope they return to you soon with the scan report
