I'm sorry to hear about all that you've recently had to deal with. It's understandable that you may be feeling anxious about the contradictory results that you've had from the scans and the biopsy but it sounds as if the hospital team is moving forwards with things to make sure that they do their best for you. 

We do occasionally have members post who have had a benign lump come back with some malignant results following a post-op pathology report. Although I will say that it isn't common that we get those kinds of posts. Hopefully, whatever happens with your surgery the team will be able to give you some reassurance and positive news about things. 

In the meantime, I wonder if you might find it helpful to chat things through with one of our team of nurses? I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice information and support that they can and help you think about any questions you want to raise with the Consultant ahead of your appointment.
