I've been prescribed cosmocol as I've been finding it quite difficult to pass a bowel movement. As far as I can tell this is something similar to moviprep in terms of taste and the general yukky consensus on it.
I discovered this evening that there really most definitely is a difference in palatability when it comes to how you make the sachets up! Previously I'd been adding it to tap cold water and stirring until I assumed it was dissolved.. it had that chalky whitness that you see when taking a dissolved aspirin. The taste was terrible, and I was thinking this stuff is going to be difficult to manage in a large quantity.
This evening however, I made a batch in a glass jug and stuck it in the fridge, intending to go back and drink pretty soon but got distracted. Was I not surprised to come back an hour or so later to a proper clear liquid, and on drinking it had lost the majority of that salty taste!
Still smells like your being forced to drink the worst gin and tonic man could make right enough, but definitely the taste is vastly improved if you leave it an hour and chill in fridge!
Hope this info helps some of you. Good luck!
