Worried sick

I am 46 and peri menopausal. Around Sept time I started with a sore shoulder. Then started with intermittent pain in gland areas (under arm neck and groin). Also had a swelling under my collar bone but only when I lifted my arm. It was not sore. I then noticed a small raised area in my armpit. Managed to get a docs appointment and she checked me over and couldn't feel any swollen areas but since I noticed the change in my underarm would send me to the breast clinic. My appointment is tomorrow but since the docs app and the hospital app I have had to get 2 teeth out at dentist as they had an infection. My gland areas are really sore now and still got to go back to dentist to get the root out of 1 tooth!! I have also still got the shoulder pain. I work in an office so at a desk most of the day and it has been a really worrying time. Not sure if this could be stress related either. I am really worried that it's cancer and not hormonal or my dental pain.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hi Jenn

Thanks for your reply. I had to cancel my appointment as I now have covid. My appointment is now 16th December. I am really worried that it's cancer as I'm still getting gland pain mainly in groin area although can't feel any swelling. I know that the gland pain can be fighting infection but I have had that for quite some time before covid. Shoulder is still painful but I am hoping that is not bone cancer. I am not sleeping to well either (not sure if that's down to menopause or worry).
    Extremely worried.
