Hi, 

im a 20 year old female, who is in good health and never had any issues previously, however around 8 weeks ago I discovered an enlarged lymph node on the left side of my neck, since then the lymph nodes around the enlarged lymph node have swollen, I can feel around 4 currently all in the same area. The lymph nodes move around, are painless and haven't yet grown in size.

I have an ultrasound scan booked for a few weeks time but the anxiety is eating me up! I cannot stop thinking the worst possible outcome. I must add I was poorly with the flu around 2 months ago, however everyone, including the doctors I've spoke to say lymph nodes should go down after 2 weeks after a virus; I still am suffering from a sore throat which I can't help believe it due to something sinister.
 

I have read horror stories so any help/ advice or people to talk to experiencing the same thing would be greatly appreciated!
