  • I'm sorry to hear that you are in this position - the waiting between tests/appointments can be so stressful and there's probably not a lot anyone can say to make this feel better for you.  What I would say is that once you know what your situation is, you will hopefully feel more in control of the situation and this, in itself (for me at least) is a much better position to be in.  The other advice I would give is to keep to forums / websites like this or Macmillan as you will find supportive people in similar situations and also, access to information and guidance that is helpful.  It can very hard not to let your mind run away with all the worst case scenarios so sticking to this source of information and support can help you to keep things in check.  I hope that you don't have to wait too long for your results - and I'm sure that if you needed to talk to one of the nurses on here, they would be more than happy to help.  xx
