Recently I've been experiencing pain in my left armpit that sometimes spreads out to my breast, down my arm or shoulder, so after a month and it hadn't gone a way I went to the doctor. She examined my armpit and said it felt tender then she examined my breast and thought she felt a pea sized lump. I wasn't really concerned about her examining my breast and didn't think she'd find anything because I hadn't felt any pain, or noticed any changes I just thought it was precautions since i mentioned my mother had breast cancer. Ever since the examination I've noticed my left breast has been quite painful, and I keep getting a burning sensation could the doctor examining the breast and then me poking at my breast trying to feel the lump she did brought on the pain? Ive been referred to the breast cancer for a mammogram, ultrasound, biopsy and blood test. My doctor did say that she wasn't to concerned and to try not to wordy but its all I can think Im so scared for my appt which is in a couple weeks. Anyone gone through this?
