In fear waiting for diagnosis. 

Went to ENT in Jan this year said I had silent reflux but looks like cancer. Found fluid behind my ear in July so had urgent referral after waiting 2 months for results so from 2nd September now 12 weeks later still not been seen due to covid.  So now things not looking good .Got doctor seeing me tomorrow or Monday see if he can hurry it up . As got lump in my throat and worried it will close my airway .

  • I'm very sorry for how long you've been waiting and for the worry this is causing.

    I hope you were able to speak with your doctor yesterday but if that didn't happen then I hope all goes well tomorrow and they're able to speed this up for you.

    Many of our members know how tough this time can be so I'm sure some of them will pop by soon to offer their support and advice but in the meantime we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed everything will be o.k.

    Hi Michael, I know it's been several months since you posted this message but did you ever get your throat symptoms diagnosed? I have similar symptoms since January this year waiting for ent appt in June. Hope you are doing well.
