I got a colonoscopy two weeks ago and an appointment has been made as a follow up. If there was nothing wrong would they refer me back to the GP? Or would they want to discuss the results even if everything was okay? Sorry i am just so nervous!

Welcome to the forum scaredofdoctors although I'm sorry for the reason you're joining us.
It's completely natural to be a bit nervous when waiting for results but try not to read too much in to this if you can. I know that's easier said than done but there are many different ways of receiving results and how you'll be getting yours may be standard proctocol for your hospital.
Also, the positive of being able to speak to someone face to face means you can ask more questions about your results and get some peace of mind.
Fingers crossed for good news scaredofdoctors.

I don't have any insight to offer, but I hope that things have gone okay for you and that you're getting the all clear. Try not to worry (a lot easier said than done I know!)
