Pelvic & TV scan - something showing -worried about results

Hi there,

I had a pelvic scan today, which is my third pelvic scan after having side pain from my lower left upwards and bleeding from bowel, indigestion, tummy pain and other issues. Normally the scanner person would just scan my tummy and not say anything but this time it took longer, and the lady said she could see something on my left side and she wanted to do a transvaginal scan to see the size of it, which completely worried me and there were three people looking at the screen before my tv internal scan. I wasn't expecting this, she said she will hear from my gyncology dept soon, when usually it's sent to GP. Can anyone else give me their expereinces? I'm worried because I've had raised CA125 in the past 46, and 41, 2.5 years ago but 3 months ago I had it again and it was 16, so I just don't know what to think. I have no idea what to expect with the results, as it doesn't look good from what I've been told but the lady didn't say anything else after the TV scan, just that I would hear quite quickly, then I've usually been told 7-10 days from GP. Do you get sent to gynocolgy directly if it's something bad, instead of your GP? Any feedback would be so much appreciated.
