Colonoscopy prep help needed

Hi 

I'm due to go in tomorrow for a colonoscopy to say I'm scared is an understatement, I be gone through every feeling possible just want tomorrow to be here and done. 

Ive just started taking the prep and it tastes disgusting does anyone know could you add orange cordial to it to help it go down? 

Im only half way through the first lot and struggling to get it down thanks

    Hi Scaredv and Jassoscared,

    Just wanted to thank you both for your reassuring replies.

    I had the colonoscopy today, I opted for just gas and air and although it was a bit uncomfortable in places it was doable. The nurses were great and really took care of me and made sure I was as comfortable as you can be. It looks like it's proctitis... not sure what this is but I will try find out tomorrow (gonna try get some sleep now, feel like I haven't slept for days.  They also removed 3 polyps for biopsy so just need to wait for the results but I'm feeling a lot more positive now so fingers crossed.

    Hi no worries at all glad I could be of some reassurance it's a scary time going through anything like this. Glad it all went ok for you today fingers crossed for your results.
