Hello Kazzie4b, 

Try not to worry too much if you can. It's reassuring that the ultrasound came back with nothing of concern. I can understand why being referred for a breast MRI has made you anxious but it's good that they are being thorough. Try not to anticipate the  worst though and it is worth bearing in mind that a lot of referrals turn out to flag nothing suspicious but it's best to have all the necessary scans and to get some clarity in a situation like this. 

The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

Mri on Monday now as got a cancellation. Then 10th December telephone appointment with the consultant
