Lump on cervix

I'm after a little advice. Iv suffered for years with pain on intercourse dull aches and pains that feel as though I'm being stabbed. I have a high pain threshold but these pains floor me. I had surgery in July for endometriosis which they said was very mild. Fast forward to now the pains have now come back and I have found a lump on my cervix and been referred on the 2 week pathway. The lump is hard and unmovable. I can't get it out of my head any tips of how to get it off my mind my appointment is Monday coming.

  • Hi Kay and welcome to Cancer Chat.

Waiting for tests and results is always tough but I hope the tips and advice given in this article on how to cope with waiting for news will help take your mind off this for a while but hopefully some of our members will be along soon to offer their suggestions and ideas as well.

In the meantime, try to stay busy and distracted and remember that 9 out of 10 people who are urgently referred are not diagnosed with cancer. You can find out more about just here.

Fingers crossed the lump is no cause for concern.

    Kind regards,
