But I do worry something is wrong and scared.i suffer with bad health aniexty and my grandad died of stomach cancer and my grand had stomach cysts.  Has anyone had my symptoms and been ok in the end x

  • I'm very sorry about all the symptoms you've been contending with over the last year and a half Healthworries but it's reassuring to see that all the tests that have been carried out have brought good news.

As the cysts and lesions found on your liver are a new discovery, maybe you could sit down and work through your concerns with your GP, including your family history, as they'll be in the best position to answer your questions and put your mind at ease. They should also be able to help with your health anxiety so if you haven't mentioned this to them already, do try and open up to them.

The NHS have some helpful information about health anxiety on their website and the charity Anxiety UK have a helpline where you can speak to someone who is experienced in dealing with these issues. In the meantime, it may be best to try and stay away from cancer forums as it may be fuelling your anxiety and making it worse.

I hope you can get some reassurance about your stomach issues soon and that the resources I've provided can help you with your anxiety.

    Kind regards,
