Armpit swelling/discomfort

Hi everyone.

Just looking for some advice or words of wisdom from anyone who has experienced something similar.

For quite a few months now I've noticed my left armpit is puffy compared to my right - it causes pain/discomfort but not all the time although I feel it's recently got worse. I first noticed it when I was pregnant earlier in the year (I sadly miscarried) but feel like the puffiness/swelling/soreness has remained.

There's no lumps in the breast or armpit that I can feel, I visited the GP in September who did a thorough breast/armpit exam and had no cause for concern.

However it hasn't gone away, I have another GP appoitment on Wednesday and hopefully I can be referred.

Has anybody experienced anything similar?

    Hi- I hope you are doing ok! Just a quick update - had my breast clinic appointment this morning - no ultrasound required but full breast exam which confirmed just excess breast tissue under the arm - most likely related to my hormones/pregnancy earlier in the year. I'm going to try and relax now, I've had 3 breast exams by 3 different GP's and a visit to the breast clinic.

    Hope you are ok, this is exactly what i had. I had a chemical pregnacy and since then my left arm and underarm has been so sore. No breast pain as such just sore, its always so worrying when its just on the left i find? I got myself in a right panic, has 3 examinations by the doctor and one by the breast clinic and they did the same as you, said no further tests and its just hormonal.

    Its so hard to just accept what they say? im 34 x
