Waiting for breast biopsy results

Hi, I'm new here and looking for for advice.

Long story short, I had a breast biopsy, ultra sound and mammogram on 22nd October.

I have an appointment for an MRI due to dense breast tissue on 25th November.

I received a letter yesterday; two weeks after my biopsy to say an appointment has been made for 10th December.

I was originally told I'd have the results in 7-10 days.

What is going on ? I am out of my mind !

Hi Kates 1 my symptoms were just a cyst but it was persistent, 2 months, I get cyclical cysts and usually don't cause me a problem. This one however started to feel different, like it wasn't as movable as they would normally be ( I hope that makes sense ).
After seeing my GP I was referred on the dreaded two week wait ..which turned into three weeks.
The initial surgeon I seen had no concerns and said he also thought it was a cyst but sent me for a mammogram due to my age; I'm 44 and the fact that I get cysts regularly.
Hope that helps, no other symptoms to report.
