Congratulations. I have had a single episode of pmb and just had an ultrasound and biopsies so just waiting now x 

Aw thats Fab news i would have cried too 

I'm also post menopause 5 years in Im 53 and have just had a bleed it was very light and really only when i wiped - I started HRT back in June as some of my symptons were just getting unbearable        ( dreaded sweats and sleepless nights ) its not unusual to have a bleed within the first 6 months but it freaked me out as everything had been going so well 

I have spoken to my Dr and at the moment theyre not overly concerned as the likelyhood is its my body settling down to the additional hormones and as the bleeding has now stopped Im not being sent for an ultrasound or hysterscopy hopefully the bleed is just a one off but if it should return then I'll be off for a scan 

its so good we can share our experiencces as it does help so much with reassurances and to know were not alone

The same thing happened to me. 

They said it had to be checked to rule out anything nasty but also said this happens to a lot of ladies as if your overies kick up for one last go.

At least the night sweats stopped for a couple of weeks!

I'll keep you posted! I'm still feeling a bit delicate and have decided to take charge and chase the biopsy results as waiting is making me sick... 

so after 11 days after my first bleed - i'm bleeding again !

rang drs and appointment made with HRT Dr for 2 Dec - way too long for my liking 

really worried now its something else this bleed is heavier and period pain alot stronger and feeling wiped out - will ring again tomorrow and ask for same day call back

Hi, yes... Sorry... I posted my outcome on another thread. I contacted the medical secretary just over a week after my biopsies and she had just received the dictation so cutting the story short... She read the consultation letter over the phone and all was OK!  Still waiting on the actual letter to arrive but phew...

Not on HRT. In fact, I sailed through the menopause with the exception of this bleed... Darn it!
