Just wanted to send a virtual hug as I'm going through a similar thing and also feel terrified. I'm 29 and have a breast clinic apppintment on Thursday. Sending lots of positive thoughts, we have to stay focused on the good and fingers crossed everything is ok. X

Yes definetly positive thoughts! Do you have children? I have a two year old and a 6 year old and I'm terrified! 
trying to not think about it to much as I've got a whole week to wait for my appointment!!

I am sorry to hear about your symptoms and how you are feeling. This is always a worrying time and we nearly all tend to feel the worst. Fortunately, this seldom seems to happen. When there are so many unknowns, it is always scary. Try to keep yourself busy to help the waiting time to pass.

Hi sorry to jump on this post but I am in the same position and have been referred on Monday by the gp to the breast clinic and I am going out my mind with worry. Did you wait long from being referred to appointment? Thanks

I had a breast clinic appointment yesterday too. I'm 29.

I was there for about an hour, breast exam and ultrasound as I am younger... so didn't need mammogram.

Believe me when I say that the wait is worse than actually going to the appointment. Get it over and done with xx

Hi, I think it was about a week I had to wait for the appointment. My appointment is on Saturday and the closer it's getting im *** it to put it bluntly! So so scared, just praying it's all okay!!
