sorry to hear about your bruises and pain. I'm in a similar boat. I'm 28 and have found a couple of (purple bruises) on my breast and have had breast pain for 8 weeks.

I went for the doctors today and she found two pea-sized lumps on my breast tail - although I can't even feel them myself so it shows it's always best for a doctor to check. She's referred me for an ultrasound to get a clear picture. 
 

my doctor was absolutely lovely and I said "oh it's probably nothing" but she said even if it is nothing it's best to check. I know lots of people don't go to the doctors incase they look like they're over reacting but I don't think any doctor would judge someone for getting their breasts checked. 

Given your concern and family history I would say it wouldn't hurt to get in touch with a doctor, just to be on the safe side. Chances are it could be something completely benign but it's always best to check.
