I had a pelic scan 4 weeks ago due to a post menopausal bleed. I received a phone call from the doc the day after to say my lining was too thick for someone who was in the menopause and she was referring me for s hysteroscopy where they would also do a biopsy to check all ok. I have a family history of breast cancer and I have yearly scans. I rang the docs last week to chase the referral and was told I wasn't referred under the cancer pathway as I didn't fit the criteria. I am panicking a bit here but feel like I'm being fobbed off. I have started to get some pains in my tummy but this could be me looking for things. I dont know what to do next. Do I just sit and wait or should I keep chasing. PS I'm 44 and started perienopause at 35. Post at 40.
