Hi all

I found a small lump at the bottom of my armpit last week which was initially very painful. GP examined and thought it was a cyst and advised to go back in 4 weeks. I went for an ultrasound privately just for peace of mind and she said there was nothing there worrying her but some inflammation in the skin that she could see on the scan.

On Sunday morning I woke up with pain in my armpit again and more lumps under the skin higher up this time. It's been incredibly sore and tender to touch and if I move my arm and catch it it's uncomfortable. I don't feel particularly unwell in myself - I haven't slept well the last 2 nights because I've been so worried. I've stopped shaving and putting any deoderant on it to see if that helps...

I've got another GP appointment tonight at 7:30 but wondered if anyone had any words of reassurance or similar experience?!
