Hello,

I have what I have been told is a large cervical ectropion. I have had it for several years but never had treatment because I saw too scared. They have offered me treatment of cryotherapy or cold coagulation in the past but I have a new appointment to reassess. 
 

My main worries is:

It will hurt too much and be very painful during the treatment with only local anesthetic

the treatment may cause other problems such as narrowing of the cervix or even more bleeding long term

I was wondering if there are people on here that have had treatments for this and would be able to share how it went and the positive/negatives after...
