Awaiting appointment for HL

Hi all,

so I've suffered from intense itching all over my body but especially neck, groin and armpit area! I have suffered from night sweats too. The itching has been over 8 weeks now, I've been treated for Scabies too (despite not having any symptoms other than the itching). 
 

i went to the doctors last week who said it could either be scabies or HL. I've been put on a 2 week referral and have my appointment this Friday for more testing. 
 

i really want to know what sort of tests I will be having on Friday. I haven't been told anything and I'm just worried.

    I just wanted to wish you the best of luck for your appointment on Friday. There is information on our website on Hodgkin's Lymphoma with a section on getting diagnosed. You will find details of the tests generally used to diagnose Hodgkin's Lymphoma on this page. I am not sure this is actually what the doctors have in mind and will want to look into but it will give you an indication of how HL is usually diagnosed. 

    Best of luck for your appointment on Friday. I hope it all goes well and that you find out very soon what is causing this intense itching.
