Biopsy

I’ve had a cough for three months and on Wednesday I had a CT scan which does not show cancer but shows an infection on the same day I had a bronchoscopy where they took a biopsy and the doctor said if it’s serious they call you in soon and now I’ve been called in to see my consultant on Monday. Have to wait a whole weekend in iterror.

    A very warm welcome to our forum.

    Waiting for results is one of the most worrying times in our cancer journeys. Our imaginations tend to take us to all sorts of dark places. Fortunately, things are usually better once we know  what we're dealing with.  

    What a pity that you have the whole weekend to wait. Try to keep yourself busy to help the time to pass.  

    I shall be thinking of you on Monday and hope that nothing untoward has been found.
