Hysteroscopy

Hi I have a uterine prolapse and rectal prolapse, I had a transvaginal scan which has picked up thickening in the lining in the womb and calcification waiting to have hysterscopy now any ideas on waiting time for this please also what thickening of the womb and calcification means

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health problems recently which have needed investigations and now some further treatment. It's understandable that you're feeling worried about things. 

    I'm afraid that we're not able to say what the results that you've been given mean, nor how long you may be waiting for the hysteroscopy. I'd suggest giving your GP or the hospital a call to find out about waiting times. If you're able to attend the hospital at short notice then it may also be worth asking about any possible cancellation appointments that become available. 

    I do hope that you don't have to wait too long for your appointment and that the results bring some reassuring news.
