Breast lump

Hi All

Im just wondering if anyone has been in the same position. I found a lump and went to gp and was referred to breast clinic. Had mammogram and ultrasound and biopsy as they couldn't get any fluid when trying to remove with the needle.

went back for biopsy results today and they said it didn't show cyst material just tissue. I'm badly bruised from biopsy so have to wait 6 weeks then to go back for ultrasound again .

6 weeks is such a long time to wait so just wondering if anyone else has had similar.

A very warm welcome to our forum.
Unfortunately, a number of people have inconclusive results and need further tests. I agree that 6 weeks seems a long time to wait, but it will probably take most of this time before you have fully recovered from your bruising.
Try to keep yourself busy to help the waiting time to pass. In the meanwhile, hold on to the fact that nothing sinister has been found yet.
