I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found a lump. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about this. 

We would recommend that anyone who has concerns about a lump speaks with their GP. As you've already seen a Dr at the walk-in centre who advised you to contact your GP to request an ultrasound you may have already contacted the surgery again. If not do give them a call next week and explain the situation. 

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for some answers about what this lump may be.

I totally agree with Jenn's advice. I am glad to hear that the doctor that you saw at the walk in centre advised you to get an ultrasound scan done. The only way to be absolutely certain that all is clear, is to have some scans done, then to possibly follow these by a biopsy.

Hi everyone, I went to the gp yesterday. He was really rude and said there was nothing wrong with me it was all in my head. It's a 5cm very visible thing under my armpit. He won't do any further investigation because he said he can't see anything. So now I guess I just have to carry on and hopefully it disappears, thanks guys!

This is totally unacceptable, when you have already been advised to have a scan. Is there another doctor in your practice who you can see for another opinion? Here's hoping that they will be more sympathetic.
