My GP has referred me for an ultrasound on a lump in my neck that she said definitely is not a lymph node! It has been there about 6 months and I'm sure that it has grown or there is another a bit further around my neck!

GP said the scan would be within 4 weeks, hospital have now said there is an 8-10 waiting list from referral due to backlogs and delays. Is there anything I can do to speed this up as I am concerned it may turn out to be cancer and the waiting is making me anxious.
