Worried about cervical biopsy results

Hi,

 

Im 24 had a smear test back in July due to a lot of symptoms. It come back abnormal all I was told it showed low grade changes. I went for a colposcopy on 11/10 don't know why it took so long to get the app. The nurse said she didn't like the look of my cervix and was almost certain I may have HPV even know the smear didn't show this. 
 

I had a biopsy taken and was sent on my way and just advised I will receive results in post. The nurse was very blunt and kept getting annoyed with me as I found the procedure  painful 
 

I've been worrying so much over over this

  • Welcome to the forum Jade although I'm sorry you didn't have the best colposcopy experience and for the worry you've been experiencing since.

    Hi! I have had six colposcopies and biopsies so far being very abnormal high-grade dysplasia HPV Cin3 in canal as well. You are not alone my life has completely flipped these past 2-3 years. If you haven't gotten the results back I wouldn't worry quite yet over 80% of the population has HPV.. depending on what level it's at you can rid yourself through exercise diet and lifestyle changes and supplements to boost your Immunity
