Hi, I have been to see GP about a lump in my neck that has been there for about 6 months. It is Garda nd immovable but doesn't cause any pain even when I press it.  Last time I tried to see GP was given blood tests and told anaemic but no reason they could find for it. Bloods this time showed same result, red blood count cell low and a few others out of range.  GP offered me a face to face appt to check the lump as I still have symptoms that aren't explained such as awful headaches, tinnitus, change in bowel habits, fatigue and just generally feeling ill. She said straight away it definitely not a lymph node and has referred me for an ultrasound scan. When I checked the notes online it also says pathology request sent but I don't know what that means? Now worried what the scan will show and that the lump is growing or there is more than one as I can feel it in the side and now back of my neck. Has anyone else gone through this before? Feel like I can't talk to anyone as they all have their own stuff going on.
