Hi all, 

I had a routine Mammogram about 6 weeks ago, it picked something up and I was sent to the breast clinic. 

They initially said it was probably a cyst and gave me an x-ray and an ultrasound. They then said because it's a small white mass it's not likely to be a cyst as fluid shows up black. 

They then said it could be a cluster of small cysts and instead of trying to drain some fluid they took 3 core biopsy. This was done last Monday.

The radiographer paid a lot of attention to my armpit during the ultrasound even though the mass is near my nipple.

I've convinced myself it's going to be bad news.

Tuesday can't come soon enough. I'll be receiving my results by telephone at 1.15.

I have never felt this anxious.
